Snippets of NorCal

I'm a little behind on this since it was a couple of weeks ago that we were up in Northern Cali, but better late than never! These are just little snippets of random days spent back home.

Drew & I were up in Calistoga wine tasting for a day. We stopped by Reverie and had an awesome tasting with their GM.

What I love about the tasting there is that it's in several different spots around the winery. One in their cave, one in a serene redwood grove, and one in a beautiful picnic area.

We had a little dessert with our wine and this little guy wanted a piece.

Biking around Calistoga was amazing, the scenery, gorgeous. You can rent bikes downtown, grab some sandwiches, and bike out to have a picnic lunch somewhere. They have bike signs everywhere so you always know you're on the right track.

Calistoga's Town Hall Meeting Theme: Underage Drinking. Meeting at the elementary school. I love it!

For Mother's Day, we went to Hog Island Oyster Co in Point Reyes, grabbed 2 bags of the yummiest raw oysters and headed to the Visitors Center where they had dozens of picnic tables to feast upon.

From the Visitors Center, there are a few trails to explore. Me, mama, and Michelle.

I'm so in love with this area in the spring.

And saving the best for last, I want to introduce a little special someone. Leannabelle, aka Belle, Bella, Bellerina...the list goes on and on. =)

This little cutie belongs to my good friend Linda and her Redwood City police force hubby, Allen. (I'll always feel safe when I'm walking through Redwood City.) Great parents = great kids, and they are such a prime example. Some of you may remember Alex as the boy who walks with his hands behind his back. Look how much he's grown already!

Belle recently learned how to kiss. Though sometimes it looks like she's eating your face. =)
