The day before the Trash the Dress Shoot, I hung out with Galen & Lanie & photographed their engagement session. Galen's my brother-in-law and the two of them have been together since their early college days.

We started off at the Alibi in Hillcrest.





Lanie's so cute when she bunches up her nose as she smiles.


We met some interesting people at the Alibi, including Mia & her bearded dragon, Bamboo. Here's Lanie & Galen playing with their new friend.


Galen thought it was so weird to kiss in front of his sister-in-law at first, but he doesn't seem to mind in the pictures. ;)

Next stop - Wine Steals, one of my favorite hangouts in Hillcrest.








Then it was off to romp around in the hills.








Last stop: Ocean Beach. Lanie was loving this place. (The two are from Irvine and had never been to OB.)







Lanie: "Oh noooo! Octopus!" Galen: "Aaarrrghhh!!!!"


These two are such a cute & fun couple and this was one of the few times I got to see how well they connect since we usually see each other with lots of other family members around. Can't wait for the June wedding you guys - it'll be so much fun!!!
