Four weeks ago, we welcomed another addition to the family, Kasen Dao. Now my brother & sister-in-law (and the rest of the fam) have two little munchkins to love!

Here he is sharing a moment with his big brother, Sean.

Some of you may remember Galen & Lanie from previous years' posts. Their engagement session in San Diego was a blast and so was their wedding in Orange County. Now these two have made one of the cutest babies ever and I'm glad we were finally able to get a family session in for them. Here's my baby nephew Sean with his mom and dad! =)

I had a fun little mini-Mother/Daughter session out at Mission Bay while I was in San Diego a couple of weeks ago. (Aaah, the 75 degree perfect weather gets me in such a dreamy mood now...especially since it's been about 110 to 115 here the last few days!!! Yes, feel free to be grossed out by those numbers -I am.)

It was a gorgeous evening out on the bay where Christina and her two year old baby girl Caroline spent some quality mother/daughter time together while I snapped away!

Here's Caroline, being the adorable little munchkin that she is.


And off she goes!!! It was quite a scene with mom running after her and me right behind with my camera. =)


Sand?

I think these are the times that your kids will remember when they grow up. Play time with momma. (Though my memory doesn't go anywhere before age 5, and even that's pretty sketchy.)

My good friend and fellow photographer Daisy Varley just had her second baby girl and figured it'd be a great time do a family photo session while I was in San Diego last week. It was definitely good times during this family session on Mission Bay. =)

We start off tame. John, Daisy, Sofia, and baby Gianna.






And then we have some fun!


Sofia has a big spot in my heart. I've watched her grow from a 6 month old baby to a talking 3 1/2 year old sweetheart.


She's absolutely adorable & I love playing with her! We made sandcastles on Mission Beach for awhile and she called me her best friend. =) When I left to play a game of volleyball and came back, she already had a new best friend-so much for that!








Gianna's only two months old and such a good baby.










Flying baby would swoosh by every once in a while during the shoot.




Now we really get down & dirty. Look at Daisy eyeing my logo while she's at it.

There was a second where I was secretly praying that Sofie wouldn't splash water my way.
